The 5-inch screen is just the right size—clear enough to see my baby’s tiny facial expressions from across the room. Panning and tilting with the remote feels smooth and responsive, and the 2x zoom actually shows detail without getting blurry. I’ve tested it in the backyard and it holds the signal solidly at about 80 feet.
I was a little nervous about the range, but it works perfectly from our backyard while my toddler naps upstairs. The 355° pan and tilt let me check every corner of the room without moving the camera. Feels solid and the video is crystal clear.
The 2x zoom actually lets me see my baby's little fingers clearly, which I wasn't expecting from a 5-inch screen. Battery life is decent too—lasts through most of the night before needing a charge.
